ART FOR AWARENESS

ART FOR AWARENESS is a project I created, to shine light on topics that often get swept under the carpet. Even if we are aware, we tend to not get involved as much as we should. There is power in unity and if we did get involved, a lot of these issues would be history. That’s why I want to make it as simple as 1,2,3 for you to help fight some of our biggest battles. By buying art for a good cause.

Humanity oftentimes seems to have two faces. While one side is getting busy trying to save our planet, the other one is destroying it. While millions of people fight for human rights others are kicking them with their feet. When what you believe to be right is laughed at, mistreated or even fought, it appears difficult to continue storing faith in humanity. However, I have to believe that poor education is the number one reason for our apart-drifting society. It’s acceptable not to be an expert on everything; in fact we might never run out of things to learn. What is not acceptable is consciously avoiding a specific topic because we are too comfortable to embrace change. Ignoring animal-slaughter won’t make it disappear. Yet we detain ourselves from feeling empathy, researching the topic or thinking about alternatives, because we are so used to the luxury of our everyday habits.

Every artwork within this project is designed to help you educate your surroundings on topics, I believe to be extremely important in a world that is supposed to be a home to all. The revenues of each project  are donated to different organizations that help shaping our world into just that.
